Bildungspakt Bayern is a Bavarian foundation that has formed an education pact entitled GribS (German for 'savvy') with E.ON AG, E.ON Energie AG, E.ON Wasserkraft GmbH and E.ON Bayern AG as exclusive promoters as well as the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture to work jointly on a pilot experiment. GribS is the title given to the project targeting primary schools for the personalized advancement of Bavarian pupils.

GribS is designed for primary schools which take the variety in pupils' backgrounds and skills as a pedagogical challenge and have set themselves the task of focusing on the systematic and personalized promotion of all primary schoolers. Personalized scholastic advancement concepts are being developed, tested and evaluated in GribS schools on behalf of all of the other Bavarian primary schools.

The aim is to optimally promote lower-performing schoolchildren just as much as those of exceptional talent. Another issue addressed by the pilot is the difference in affinity to natural sciences between boys and girls. To this end, the schools receive scientific assistance and support from the Bildungspakt Bayern Foundation. E.ON companies can provide practical assistance in building bridges between subject matter in the fields of natural sciences and energy efficiency. Other conceivable measures include guided tours through power plants, excursions giving insight behind the scenes at E.ON Bayern, deploying the E.ON Energy Mobile, and disseminating teaching material.
